BREEZER already occupies a distinctive place in India’s drinking culture: accessible, colourful, flavourful and intrinsically social. But the RTD market and the urban Indian male are changing.
They are increasingly curious about bolder, more adventurous flavours. Drinking has become more socially acceptable and central occasions set aside for connecting with friends. Add growing disposable income, the proliferation of clubs and bars, wider availability and an appetite for innovation with a distinctly Indian twist, and the opportunity is clear: interesting, unique & bolder flavours and greater experience.

Knockout, as lead creative agency partner, were invited to develop the positioning, naming and design of this new sub-brand.
BREEZER BOLD is an 8% ABV product built around three deliberately localised bold flavour combinations — Guava Chilli, Lime & Lager and Grapefruit Yuzu. This wasn’t simply another flavour of BREEZER, but another dimension for the brand to play in, while retaining everything that makes BREEZER recognisable.
The name is deceptively simple: it communicates the product truth — bolder flavour combinations — while embracing a bold new era of masculinity. Away from the clichés, it’s about being bold enough to go your own way in a changing world.

The visual language is intentionally more impactful to mirror the liquid in the bottle, amplifying the contrasts within the flavours themselves — sweet against heat, citrus against bitterness, familiar against unfamiliar.
A black backdrop allows the colour of the liquid to sing, heroing the flavour promise; an energetic pattern hints at the intensity of the drinking experience and occasion; while the word marque and crown appear in crisp, clean white to deliver on refreshment cues.
BREEZER BOLD respects the considerable equity of the parent brand and its familiar assets, but gives them a fresher edge for a new generation. It doesn’t reject BREEZER’s DNA grounded in optimism, flavourful fun or playful colours. It intensifies it.
It’s a bold move for BREEZER, and one that culturally moves in the right direction.
